10 secrets of the journey – applies to relationship, families, business and you:

1. You’re the answer to someone’s prayer (longing/desire)

2. Be an environmental change agent – create culture and brand people want to be associated with to bring the best out of them – create climate by changing lexicon, such as “living business”, “four corners”

3. Adversity should take you up not down (like a kite in the wind) – going through adversity shows you what you’ve mastered and what you need to master – look outside of yourself (westward) and inside yourself (eastward). LYF Center will teach these things because the battle is internal. Trainers will be chosen from among the associates and their travel expenses will be paid for. Focus is on larger group, not “my team”

4. Increase your skills or lower your dream – your personal dream is the best thing you can give your organization. Einstein quote: “The problems that we have created as a result of the level of thinking that we have done thus far cannot be solved at the same level of thinking at which we created them.”

5. Eight words to live by:” I believe I can I will I am”– words are vehicles from which thoughts rise.
Words create thoughts, thoughts create feelings, feelings create actions, actions create habits. We’ll never possess what we’re not willing to pursue.

6. “Leader of one, leader of many, if you can’t lead one, you can’t lead any.” You need to lead yourself first, so work on yourself. Aristotle: “We are what we repeatedly do. Excellence, then, is not an act, but a habit.”

7. The more people you have, the more leaders you will need – to duplicate leaders learn, do it, teach others to do it and teach others how to teach the business.

8. Your financial prosperity will be due to a large degree to your ability to deal positively with others – the four Fs: friendly, fair, frank, firm (friendly and fair always; frank and firm when necessary).

9. The agreements you make with yourself will determine the altitudes of your success or depth of your failure.

10. All great achievers believe in the philosophy of “now or never”.
