Aspartame…………

Posted by Jan Knutson on January 25, 2011

The Rumsfeld Plague: Aspartame Brings Horror

by Hesh Goldstein

(NaturalNews) The aspartame horror began in 1981 due to Donald Rumsfeld, as head of the G.D. Searle pharmaceutical company, when he used his political clout to put a known carcinogen on the market to poison a nation all in the name of money.

In a Washington Post article of December 12, 2001 about Donald Rumsfeld, there was a one liner that was so incredibly relevant. That sentence was:

“He could be swilling Diet Coke with the secure knowledge that if not for his turnaround of Big Pharma giant G.D.Searle & Co. and successful touting of the sweetener aspartame, the beverage would not be possible”.

If Donald Rumsfeld had never been born think of how many millions of people the world over would not suffer headaches and dizziness.

Thousands blind from the free methyl alcohol in aspartame would have sight, and there would be much fewer cases of optic neuritis and macular degeneration.

Millions suffering seizures would live normal lives and wouldn`t be taking anti-seizure medication that won`t work because aspartame interacts with drugs and vaccines. Think of the runner, Flo Jo, who drank Diet Coke and died of a grand mal seizure. She, no doubt, would still be alive. Brain fog and memory loss, skyrocketing symptoms of aspartame disease, would not be epidemic.

Millions suffer insomnia because of the depletion of serotonin (the cause of depression).

Think of Heath Ledger. He took that horrible drug, Ambian CR for sleep, which makes your optic nerve and face swell and gives you horrible headaches. Plus, he drank Diet Coke and took other drugs and died of polypharmacy.

Since aspartame has been proven to be a multi potential carcinogen, would Farrah Fawcett still be alive?

Consider the constant plague of fallen athletes. Aspartame triggers an irregular heart rhythm and interacts with all cardiac medication. It damages the cardiac conduction system and causes sudden death. Thousands of athletes have fallen. Doctors H.J. Roberts and Russell Blaylock wrote these alerts:
http://www.wnho.net/aspartame msg scd.htm
and
http://www.wnho.net/aspartame and arrhythmias.htm

Epidemiological studies should be done on MS and lupus because of their link to aspartame use.

Hundreds of thousands of people suffer from aspartame induced multiple sclerosis and lupus, and if not warned in time could lose their lives as many have. Hospice nurses have reported Alzheimer`s disease in 30 year olds as it skyrockets from Rumsfeld`s plague. Think of Michael Jackson, a former Diet Pepsi spokesman. He developed lupus, then came the drugs, then came the serious joint pain, and then he died of cardiac arrest which aspartame causes.

As the phenylalanine in aspartame deletes serotonin, it triggers all kinds of psychiatric and behavioral problems. The mental hospitals are full of patients who are nothing but aspartame victims. If Donald Rumsfeld had never been born, the revoked petition for approval of aspartame would have been signed by FDA commissioner Jere Goyan and the mental hospitals would house probably 50% less victims.

Jere Goyan would never have been fired at 3:00 AM by the Reagan transition Team to over-rule the Board of Inquiry. Instead, FDA commissioner Jere Goyan would have signed the revoked petition into law. See: http:/www.mpwhi.com/fda petition1.doc.

The FDA today would still be Big Pharma`s adversary instead of being their “hooker”.

If aspartame had not been approved, Lou Gehrig`s Disease, Parkinson`s and other neuro-degenerative diseases would not be knocking off the public in record numbers. Michael Fox, a Diet Pepsi spokesman, would never have gotten Parkinson`s at age 30. He would probably still be making movies, young and healthy.

Aspartame interacts with L-dopa and other Parkinson drugs. Parcopa has aspartame in it and the pharmaceutical company refuses to remove it.

One has to take a deep breath when you think how heartless it is that there is not even a warning for pregnant women.

Aspartame triggers every kind of birth defect from autism and Tourettes` Syndrome to cleft palate.

Aspartame is an abortifacient (a drug that induces abortion). As an example, out of 9 pregnancies, 8 were lost and the one that survived is schizophrenic. Multiply that all over the world due to Rumsfeld`s Plague. ADD and ADHD would be rare instead of rampant.

It`s normal for young girls to look forward to marriage and children. Yet, many sip on diet soda or use aspartame products not realizing that aspartame is an endocrine disrupting agent, stimulating prolactin, which is a pituitary hormone that stimulates milk production at childbirth, changes the menstrual flow and causes infertility.

Many go through life never knowing why they couldn`t have children.

Aspartame even destroys marriages because it causes male sexual dysfunction and ruins female response.

Aspartame causes every type of blood disorder from a low blood platelet count to leukemia.

Because aspartame can precipitate diabetes the disease is epidemic. To make matters worse, it can simulate and aggravate diabetic retinopathy and neuopathy, destroy the optic nerve, cause diabetics to go into convulsions and interact with insulin.

Diabetics lose limbs from the free methyl alcohol; professional organizations like the American Diabetes Association push and defend this poison because they take money from the manufactures. How many millions would not have diabetes if Rumsfeld had never been born?

Aspartame (NutraSweet/Equal/Spoonful/E951/Candere/Benevia, etc) and MSG, another one of Ajinomoto`s horrors, are responsible for the epidemic of obesity the world over.

Why? Because aspartame makes you crave carbohydrates and causes great toxicity to the liver.
http:/www.mpwhi.com/ aspartame makes you fatter.htm

The FDA report lists 92 symptoms from unconsciousness and coma to shortness of breath and shock. Medical texts list even more: “Aspartame Disease: An Ignored Epidemic”, www.sunsetpress.com by H.J. Roberts, M.D., and “Excitotoxins: The Taste That Kills” by neurosurgeon Russell Blaylock, M.D., www.russellblaylockmd.com.

There is simply no end to the horrors triggered by this literal addictive, excitoneurotoxic, genetically engineered carcinogenic drug.

This chemical poison is so deadly that Dr. Bill Deagle, www.nutrimedical.com , a noted Virologist once said it was worse than depleted uranium because it is found everywhere in food.

The formaldehyde converted from the free methyl alcohol embalms living tissue and damages DNA according to the Trocho Study done in Barcelona in 1998.

Even with this devastating study showing how serious a chemical poison aspartame is, the FDA has turned a blind eye and a deaf ear to it.

With Monsanto attorney Michael Taylor now appointed as Deputy Commissioner to the FDA by Obama, it`s nothing more than Monsanto`s Washington Branch Office.

Even before the Ramazzini Studies showing aspartame to be a multi-potential carcinogen, the FDA knew it.

Their own toxicologist, Dr. Adrian Gross, even admitted that it violated the Delaney Amendment because of the brain tumors and brain cancer.

Therefore, no allowable daily intake ever should have been able to be established.

Aspartame caused all types of tumors from mammary, uterine, ovarian, pancreatic and thyroid to testicular and pituitary.

Dr. Alemany, who did the Trocho Study, commented that aspartame could kill 200 million people. When you damage DNA you can destroy humanity.

Dr. James Bowen told the FDA over 20 years ago that aspartame is mass poisoning the American public and likewise in more than 70 countries of the world. No wonder it`s called “Rumsfeld`s Plague”.

Big Pharma knows all about aspartame and they add it to drugs, including the ones used to treat the problems caused by aspartame.

Big Pharma has made America a fascist government.

People are so sick from aspartame and yet they keep selling these dangerous pharmaceuticals at outrageous prices.

Dr. H.J. Roberts said in one of his books that you have to consider aspartame with killing children. We are talking about a drug that changes brain chemistry. Today children are medicated instead of educated.

Death and disability is what Donald Rumsfeld has heaped on consumers just to make money.

Think of the death of Charles Fleming who used to drink about 10 diet sodas a day.

Then he used creatine on top of this, which interacts, and is considered the actual cause of death.

Yet his wife, Diane Fleming, remains in a prison in Virginia convicted of his death, despite being the very one who tried to get her husband to stop using these dangerous products containing aspartame in the first place.

The list never ends. At least six American Airlines` pilots, who were heavy users of aspartame, have died with one in flight drinking a Diet Coke.

When American Airlines was written about removing aspartame they said, “leave the flying to us”.

Pilots too are sick and dying on aspartame, and when you fly your life is in the hands of the pilot.

There was a case with a Delta pilot that died from esophageal cancer and had a history of consuming huge quantities of diet sodas. This was brought to the attention of the Delta management that refused the pilot`s wife`s request to alert other pilots.

Then there`s the Persian Gulf where diet sodas sat on pallets daily in temperatures in the 100 to 120 degree range for as long as 9 weeks at a time before the soldiers drank them all day long.

Remember, aspartame converts to formaldehyde at 86 degrees; it interacts with vaccines and damages the mitochondria or life of the cell, and the whole molecule breaks down to a brain tumor agent.

There`s a book out there called, “Rumsfeld, His Rise, Fall and Catastrophic Legacy”, by Andrew Cockburn that will substantiate all of this.

And fittingly, Rumsfeld appropriately lives in a place called Mount Misery.

In the video, “Sweet Misery: A Poisoned World”, which you can view at www.healthtalkhawaii.com, attorney James Turner explains how Rumsfeld got his poison marketed for human consumption.

To learn about how the CDC investigation was covered up – The Rumsfeld-Pepsi-Nixon Connection, go to http://www.sweetremedy.tv/pages/rum… or view it in its entirety at www.healthtalkhawaii.com.

For over a quarter of a century there has been mass poisoning of the public in over 100 countries of the world by aspartame because Donald Rumsfeld, as he put it, “called in his markers”.

The aspartame industry has paid front groups and professional organizations to defend them and push it on the very people it can cause the most harm to.

A suit was filed against the American Diabetes Association in 2004 for racketeering but they got out of it.

The hands of physicians are tied.

Most are clueless that a patient is using aspartame, and the drugs used to treat the aspartame problem will probably interact and may even contain aspartame.

This is the world that Donald Rumsfeld is responsible for!

My eternal thanks to Dr. Betty Martini, Founder, of Mission Possible International for her undying efforts in exposing this heinous crime against humanity.

Enter into Championship Thinking

Posted by Jan Knutson on January 25, 2011

Attitudes of Champions

Life is tough.
The challenges of daily living are so daunting, only very few surface above the fray.
But you can rise above the storms of your life simply by mastering these 8 winning attitudes of champions.

Yes, you too can be a champion.

#1  Champions feed and grow on challenges.

I like to play the snake game on my cell phone, and, indeed, it’s my favorite.  I like the idea that the snake gets longer and larger by gulping down bits of obstacles along it’s path.  Each time I play that game, I’m often reminded of this first of the 8 winning attitudes of champions, which is that champions feed and grow on challenges.  If you have this attitude, it will empower you to advance against the obstacles strewn along the path to your preferred realities.

#2  Champions know that the best calculations are prone to fail and no plan is foolproof

You see, no matter how smart you are and how much precautions you take, you are still going to encounter lots of nasty seasons.
Management wisdom has it that whatever can go wrong will go wrong.
Champions know this and prepare ahead of time.

#3  Champions have the attitude that expects turbulence during the flight

Before take off in any flight, the pilot usually says something like, “We expect some slight turbulence, but that’s nothing to worry about.”  Champions expect turbulence during the flight.  But they also have an attitude that says “If and when the turbulence rises, I’ll ride the storm and not be deterred by any temporary difficulties.”

#4  Champions know that they may need to make some adjustments in the way they pursue their dreams, based on information that was not available to them initially

This is why champions have an open heart. They are rapid learners and never cease to learn.
In fact, champions relish data and facts, and are ravenous consumers of information.
Champions are open to change and keep adjusting their methods and techniques to take advantage of new realities to enhance their performance and success.
This is why they usually stay ahead of everybody else.

#5  But champions have an attitude of gratitude at all times, particularly when things don’t go  their way according to plan

This is because they fully understand that after the storm comes the rain and that there are silver linings behind every cloud.
Champions know that there are favors and breakthroughs embedded within every adversity.

#6  Champions do not lose their faith in their God

Their faith in their God is so deep that they can draw from the supernatural strength of their God to deal with their challenges.
Champions have a rock-solid faith in their God. When even their strongest allies fail and turn against them, they know exactly where to turn to for inner strength

#7 Champions do not allow their personal difficulties to stop them from loving and caring

In spite of their frequent challenges, champions take the little that they have and share with others.  I believe this is the major key that unlocks their victories.
Champions understand the power of love, caring, and generosity, which is why they have such great hearts, and such phenomenal success

Alkalize Your Way to Great Health

by Dr. David Jockers

(NaturalNews) The human internal ecosystem is stabilized by several different buffering systems that keep the body functioning at a high level for as long as possible.

One of these buffering systems is pH.
Our blood stream should be slightly alkaline at 7.365 at all times. If it rises or falls one or two tenths of a pH unit it is catastrophic and potentially fatal to the body.
Maintaining pH balance through proper diet and lifestyle is one of the most critical tools to optimizing your health.

The
body has both short-term and long-term methods for buffering blood pH.
In the short-term the kidneys will flush out more acidic wastes and the speed of breathing will increase to pump more alkalizing oxygen into the system and acidic forming carbon dioxide out of the system.
If the blood pH becomes too acidic for a chronic period of time it turns to the various tissues to help stabilize the pH.
The body will naturally excrete alkaline minerals such as calcium from our bones & teeth. Magnesium is taken from blood vessels, potassium from our neuromuscular system, and sodium from our joints.
If these minerals are not replaced, the tissues become weak and degenerate quickly.

The primary alkalizing elements in our body include calcium,
magnesium, sodium, potassium, vitamin C, selenium, oxygen, zinc, and the various B vitamins.
The best sources of these essential nutrients are in fresh organically grown fruits and vegetables, apple cider vinegar, certain nuts & seeds, & unprocessed sea salts.

The most acidic forming foods include sugars, grains, grain-fed meat & dairy products, coffee, and processed foods of any kind. Perhaps the worst culprit of all is soda. Soda is loaded with sugar, artificial sweeteners, preservatives, and phosphoric acid. These are all extremely acidic forming substances. Soda measures out at a pH around 3. This powerfully dehydrates the body as water is needed to help detoxify all the acidic waste.

When a person eats too much acid forming foods for a long period of time the body becomes deficient in alkaline forming elements and the digestive system becomes impaired. Food is then inadequately digested and mucous is secreted into the bowel to protect itself. Chronic conditions can cause the mucous to become hardened creating a mucoid plaque that impairs
food absorption. This plaque build-up lodges into the walls of the colon and becomes a breeding ground for parasites and other unfriendly organisms

Parasites such as worms, fungal yeast, and antagonistic bacteria will steal valuable nutrients and secrete toxins and acidic particles back into the bloodstream. This multiplies the relative acidity of the system and profoundly lowers our energy and immunity. This also causes excessive strain on major organs depleting them of life-staining enzymes and nutrients in the battle to maintain blood pH. This onslaught of stress on the body eventually leads to disease and death.

Fortunately, our bodies were created with an incredible ability to heal and restore themselves. If we begin taking action with steps to move back into balance, our body will respond and we will dramatically improve our
health.

Begin Alkalizing Now with these 7 simple tips:
1.Drink 1/2 – 1 gallon of clean, purified water daily with 2 level teaspoons of Celtic Sea Salt added per gallon
2.Squeeze fresh lemon in water

3.Use Apple cider
vinegar instead of salad dressing or other vinegars
4.Use unprocessed sea salt (such as Celtic Sea Salt or Himalayan salt) instead of other salts.

5.Use oregano, dill, cilantro, parsley, rosemary, & fennel

6.Make a Green Drink every day

7.Try to eat 75% raw alkaline forming foods

Differentiate Yourself Through Persistence & Follow Up

by Lori Richardson on January 23, 2011

It is amazing that just by following through on your word you can set yourself apart as one of the top 3-5% of sales professionals  (or business owners, as the case may be). Yes, most people mean well, however they do not follow through as promised.

The best of the best learn to under promise and over deliver. Why? Because customers are often amazed when that happens. Too many people make grandiose claims – they talk but don’t do the actions to back it up. Therefore, people have become numb to claims and distrustful about what vendors do promise.

Stand out  by doing these things:

Be persistent when following up with a company that has expressed interest in working with you. Don’t give up just because they don’t return your calls or reply to your emails. There is so much noise in the business world these days – you need to follow up more than you might expect. Assuming the prospective customer is a good potential fit for your products and services – keep some connection to them over time.

Always set a next action when you do get them by phone or by email reply. If they say they are not interested now, ask if you can check back with them in a week / month / quarter / year (depending on your products and services, type of business, etc.) Nearly always they will agree to it, since it is in the future. When you do call, they will probably remember that they’d OK’d the idea of you following up. If they don’t, you can remind them of it. It is much better than random follow-up calls whenever. That doesn’t work.

If you say you will do something for an existing customer, a strategic partner, or a prospective customer, by all means DO what it is that you said. This is an excellent way to build trust even before you do business as customer / vendor or as partners.  How can this be so hard for people to understand? Once you lose trust or respect with a potential customer, you lose your chance to work with them. Be good on your word – do what you say, and if you do – you’ll stand out and be one of that “top” percentage of sales reps who also happen to typically make the greatest revenues.

It’s not rocket science  – and in fact it is so simple, most sellers don’t even remember to do these things. Be the difference.

BEETS…..healthy

Enjoy the Many Healthy Benefits of Beets, Carrots, and Apple Juice

by Tony Isaacs

(NaturalNews) When most people think about beets, they likely turn up their noses and think “yuck!” However, health-conscious people would be wise to expand their palette and discover ways to utilize and enjoy beets on a regular basis because the oft-maligned beet is one of the healthiest vegetables on the planet.

Beets are rich in betaine, which stimulates liver cell function and helps keep the bile ducts healthy and flowing; this enables the body to eliminate toxins properly. Beets also protect against heart disease because another benefit of betaine is its ability to reduce homocysteine levels. Homocysteine is the toxic amino acid that increases risk of cardiovascular disease.

Betaine, also known as trimethylglycine (TMG), is a minor “mood enhancer”. Through a series of events, it increases serotonin levels and can be used to help relieve many cases of depression.

Drinking just over two cups of beetroot juice daily may help keep your blood pressure in check, according to a 2008 study. Within three hours of drinking 500 milliliters (about 17 ounces) of beetroot juice, volunteers showed a significant decrease in blood pressure. What’s more, that drop in blood pressure was sustained for up to 24 hours after the juice was consumed.

Beets also help protect against cancer, particularly colon cancer, and there is something called “Beet Therapy” which doctors have used to get rid of tumors and to help with blood diseases and leukemia. Even the leaves of raw beets have been eaten and useful and beneficial to one’s health. The leaves have been known to counter “garlic” breath and in Roman times Hippocrates advocated the use of beet leaves as binding for healing wounds.

Among the other healthy uses of beets are:
*Helping cleanse the colon
*Strengthening the gall bladder
*Increasing stamina
*Treating and curing boils, abscesses and even acne.

Beets, which are low calorie and have no saturated fat, contain folic acid which is necessary for the production and maintenance of new cells. This is especially important for pregnant woman or anyone undergoing physical healing. Beets also contain sodium, magnesium, calcium, iron and phosphorous.

Beets are usually bright red (and sometimes white or yellow) and make a colorful and healthy garnish. They also can be made into a number of cold salads. Betacyanin is the pigment that gives red beets their color and is believed to be responsible for helping fight cancer.

Borscht is a vegetable soup made of beets and is a very popular and traditionally loved dish in Poland, Russia, Germany and other Eastern European countries. There are cold and hot Borscht soups and each country varies the ingredients somewhat, but beets are the one main and common ingredient of this revered hearty soup.

Juiced beets are usually called either “beetroot juice” or “beet juice”. Beetroot juice has a strong sweet flavor; thus, it is best blended with other juices (such as carrot, apple, and lemon) for better taste. Since juiced beets can be combined with other healthy ingredients for both taste and health benefits, many people prefer to consume beets in juiced form.

Here is a healthy and simple juiced beets recipe:

Beet Juice with Carrots and Apples

Ingredients:

*1 small organic beetroot (Also Juice the leaves for more nutritional benefits)
*2 large carrots
*1 Apple

Directions:

1. Wash the vegetables 2. Slice up the vegetables to fit your juicer.
3. Juice and serve.

ALPHA-CAROTENE

Posted by Jan Knutson on November 30, 2010

High levels of natural plant antioxidant alpha-carotene are associated with fewer deaths from all causes

by S. L. Baker, features writer

(NaturalNews) Picture this: a chemical is discovered that has amazing health-protecting powers. In fact, if a person consumes enough of the potent life guarding compound, his or her chances of dying from heart disease, cancer or any other reason will plummet for many, many years into the future. Sound like a futuristic drug out of a sci fi story? It’s not.

Instead, it’s a natural compound available right here and right now — the antioxidant alpha-carotene, produced by plants.

In a large study of over 15,000 adults, Centers for Disease Control (CDC) scientists found that high blood levels of alpha-carotene were associated with a significantly reduced risk of dying over a 14 year period.

The research was just published in the on-line edition of the Archives of Internal Medicine. There are several forms of carotenoids, including beta-carotene and lycopene as well as alpha-carotene.

Alpha-carotene is very similar to beta-carotene but research has shown it may be more effective at preventing or blocking the growth of cancer cells in the brain, liver and skin, according to the CDC scientists.

“Moreover, results from a population-based case-control study of the association between the consumption of fruits and vegetables and risk of lung cancer suggest that consumption of yellow-orange (carrots, sweet potatoes or pumpkin and winter squash) and dark-green (broccoli, green beans, green peas, spinach, turnips greens, collards and leaf lettuce) vegetables, which have a high alpha-carotene content, was more strongly associated with a decreased risk of lung cancer than was consumption of all other types of vegetables,” the authors of the study noted in their paper.

Chaoyang Li, M.D., Ph.D., of the CDC and colleagues investigated the relationship between alpha-carotene and the risk of death among 15,318 adults, all age 20 or older.

The research subjects were participants in the Third National Health and Nutrition Examination Survey Follow-up Study and all had medical exams and gave blood samples between 1988 and 1994.

Then researchers followed the study volunteers through 2006 to find out which of them died and how.

By the end of the study, 3,810 participants were no longer alive — but the risk for dying was far lower in the people who had the highest levels of alpha-carotene in their blood. In fact, as the level of alpha-carotene went up, the risk of dying went down dramatically.

For example, compared to people with blood alpha-carotene levels between 0 and 1 micrograms per deciliter, those with concentrations of alpha-carotene between 4 and 5 micrograms per deciliter had a 27 percent lower risk of dying.

And when blood levels of the antioxidant reached 9 micrograms or higher, there was stunning, almost 40 percent lowered chance of death.

What’s more, higher alpha-carotene concentrations were linked with a lower risk of dying not only from cardiovascular disease or cancer, and from all other causes.

The researchers noted in their paper that these data support increasing fruit and vegetable consumption as a way of preventing premature death and suggest a need for more clinical research into the health benefits of alpha-carotene.

Hungry For Change

How much do we really know about the food we buy at our local supermarkets and serve to our families?

In Food, Inc., filmmaker Robert Kenner lifts the veil on our nation’s food industry, exposing the highly mechanized underbelly that has been hidden from the American consumer with the consent of our government’s regulatory agencies, USDA and FDA. Our nation’s food supply is now controlled by a handful of corporations that often put profit ahead of consumer health, the livelihood of the American farmer, the safety of workers and our own environment. We have bigger-breasted chickens, the perfect pork chop, herbicide-resistant soybean seeds, even tomatoes that won’t go bad, but we also have new strains of E. coli—the harmful bacteria that causes illness for an estimated 73,000 Americans annually. We are riddled with widespread obesity, particularly among children, and an epidemic level of diabetes among adults.

The Social Action campaign for Food, Inc. is tackling the issues such as childhood obesity by advocating for healthier school lunches and menu labeling laws, encouraging organic and sustainable food purchases, and protections for farm workers.

WILL BANNING
ASPARTAME STOP INSANITY?
By Elaine Hollingsworth
Are you depressed by what is happening in your world?    Do you sometimes feel as if everyone is crazy?   Well, you may be right.  Just take a look around you and observe the following:
** The contents of the evening news and your daily paper
**  Out-of-control road rage

**  Obscene crimes against the aged and infirm

**  Horrible child abuse

**  Children murdering their parents and even other children

**  Frightening, senseless crime

**  Unreasonable anger that often erupts out of nowhere

**  Lack of civility and old-fashioned manners

**  Teenagers running wild

**  Inexplicable judicial decisions

**  Bizarre government pronouncements
So many people tell me they have fallen into deep funks because the wheels seem to have come off civilization, and no one with intelligence or common sense is dealing with it.   And they COULD, because there is a simple reason for this collective insanity, and the stroke of a pen would stop it.  With one stroke we would return to the way we were 20 years ago.  Not crime-free, of course, but a heck of a lot safer and happier than we are now.  One stroke is all it would take.  You don’t believe me?  Read on…
Hundreds of millions of people throughout the world are being poisoned every day by a neurotoxin that has been proven, beyond a shadow of a doubt, to cause anxiety, panic attacks, rage, paranoia, confusion, dizziness, abnormal restlessness, lack of concentration, irritability, depression, disorientation, out-of-control blood sugar surges and even murderous rages and suicide.
Remind you of anyone you know, or someone you have encountered on the highway or in a public place?  Or even of yourself?  Not yourself, I hope and trust, because you have probably read my book and the chapter on this deadly neurotoxin, otherwise known as Aspartame, Equal, Splenda, Spoonful, Crystal Light, Sweet ‘n Low, Nutrasweet, Acesulfame K., and whatever  name they come up with to disguise their poisonous money spinners.
But whatever they call artificial sweeteners, remember this – if you are extremely delicate they can kill you outright.  If you are strong it will take longer, of course, but you will not escape scott free, and there is a good chance that you will become  addicted, become seriously ill, and perhaps even feel as if you are going insane.
In my book I document the Monsanto Chemical Company and Donald Rumsfeld corruption that permitted this neurotoxin to be rammed through the approval process at the US Food and Drug Administration (FDA).   Their motive?   Monsanto owned the patent through their Searle Pharmaceuticals Company, and Rumsfeld  was Searle’s CEO.  This was accomplished through the enthusiastic assistance of then-President Ronald Reagan, Mr. Nice Guy and pal of the multinationals.  With the help of the Reagan – Rumsfeld duo, two principled FDA officers, who warned of the extreme dangers and tried to stop this juggernaut, were discredited and fired.  They were replaced by scientific prostitutes, especially chosen by Rumsfeld, the Prince of Darkness.
This was done in spite of conclusive evidence that artificial sweeteners contain chemicals that stimulate  the neurons in the brain to excessive firing, which  totally fatigues and sometimes kills them, leading to serious physical and mental illnesses.
It was then that Reagan instigated changes in the FDA to clobber any lingering decency that already corrupt organization may have had.  It’s been downhill ever since, with the agency becoming more corrupt each year, followed closely by their counterparts in most other countries who, unfortunately, parrot their dictates.
And speaking of corrupt Presidents – here is some REALLY scary news.  The most powerful man in the world, the man with his finger perilously near the button, is a Diet Pepsi addict, and consumes up to 16 cans per day, according to my spies.   Could that explain George W. Bush’s catastrophic decisions and his goofy look of incomprehension?   Or is that just his inborn stupidity shining forth?
Somehow I don’t think HE is going to make that stroke of a pen to ban artificial sweeteners forever, and save us from the frightening violence that gets worse every day.  Nor will Prime Ministers John Howard, Helen Clark, Gordon Brown or Stephen Harper dare to displease their masters, Big Pharma.   We have to forget about help from politicians, and help ourselves!
Do you have family or friends who can’t, or don’t want to, kick the habit?    If so, send them to the websites at the bottom of this e-zine, and if they are willing to read with an open mind, and if they have a shred of self-esteem, they will become converts.
On the other hand, they may tell you smugly that the Diabetes Society highly recommends all diet pops, so they must be safe.  Wrong.   A little digging will prove that this society is financed by the very companies that produce diet drinks, and has been for more than 20 years that I know of.
Then, they may bring out the big guns and quote the Calorie Control Council, which says that artificial sweeteners are completely safe.  Sounds good, doesn’t it?  But the CCC is not a group of benign old men who sit around trying to figure out painless ways for us to be healthy and enjoy sweets without that nasty sugar.   No, they are a bought and paid for diet-industry trade group, which exists solely to propagandize, lobby for, protect, and tout all artificial sweeteners.
The CCC also states that 79% of Americans use artificial sweeteners.  Oh, now I understand – that’s the reason Americans are all so slim and healthy!
Still on the fence?   Please see the links below which were prepared by Dr Betty Martini, my esteemed and much-valued American colleague.  This amazing lady has devoted her life for years to spreading the word about the dangers of artificial sweeteners.
